Parents can experience a great deal of stress during back-to-school time. If you have children, you may worry about things like buying school supplies, signing up for activities, and changing schedules. Keep in mind that it is normal to experience stress during this time of the year.

Here are three tips to help parents:

  • Communicate: Talk openly with your children and listen to any worries they may have. Remind them you are here for support.
  • Make time for yourself: Practice self-care and stress management skills. Your well-being is valuable and necessary so that you can support your children.
  • Establish routines: Routines can create a sense of structure and reduce stress for you and your children.
